In 1999, the Education Industry Association set out to reach a broader section of the industry drawing in not only small-sized entrepreneurs but also leaders of large education businesses that are operating at scale. This marked the establishment of the EIA Leadership Board (LB) to bring together a core group of education industry leaders who would work in unison to bring the industry’s message—Service-Innovation-Results—to the forefront of Congressional and public debate on reforming education. Joining EIA at the Gold or Platinum levels qualifies your organization to become a member of the Leadership Board.
Leadership Board executives and their organizations are helping millions of students every day. They create innovations in charter school management and school turn-around, online and blended learning, tutoring/test prep, special and alternative education and proprietary pre K-12 education service delivery. LB members are also considered for election to the EIA Board of Directors and other positions of leadership for the association.
